Dixie's Roasting Co. is a boutique coffee company dedicated to the sourcing, selection, and roasting of the best coffees found throughout the world. Our clients are individuals, institutions and wholesalers who share our vision for exceptional coffee obtained through only fair and equitable local trade relationships.

At Dixie's Roasting Co., we believe in developing partnerships with small single estate growers and farmers, both at plantation, village and co-op level. This way, we can ensure the largest percentages of the profits they make are given directly back to the people and not importers/exporters or other large business/franchises. This, in turn, allows the people to develop their communities, their coffee expertise and to assist them in promoting environmental conservation and likewise a more sustainable and tasty crop for us next year while maintaining their own culture.

Our goal is to ensure only the best coffees are selected, roasted and presented to coffee connoisseurs (our customers) within the same year the coffee is cropped; one further step that provides our customers with the world's finest coffees.

So that’s what Dixie’s Roasting Co. is all about, but who is Dixie. Dixie’s Roasting Co. is owned by Demian and Candace Stewart, and Dixie was their beautiful American bloodhound, which they refer to as their first born. Dixie loved to spend all of her time with Demian and Candace so the idea to open the shop was in part to ensure Dixie had her mom and dad around at all times. For the short time that Dixie was managing her roasting company, she made many great friends in China Grove– and all the customers that came into the store stopped in to tell her hello. The name will always honor Miss Dixie, and Candace and Demian will ensure her products are kept to the highest standards.
